MicroWeave-TEX is an Erasmus+ project, aiming to contribute on the reduction of synthetic microfibre release along the textile chain, from design to final disposal, by training educators and students.

The project aims for the creation of innovative educational programmes that will promote sustainability skills and sustainable practices in microplastic reduction among trainers, students and industry workers in the textile sector.

Goals:

• Creating our Student’s Hub: An interactive programme combining theory, experimental practices and digital tools to help students reduce microplastics in textiles.
• Creating our Educator’s Hub: A training programme designed to support higher education teachers in integrating sustainability and microplastics education into their curricula.
