Colorful woven sewing threads

Just a single laundry load of polyester clothes can discharge 700,000 microplastic fibers into the water! This poses an environmental and health challenge for us all.

To address this, the MicroWeave-TEX project seeks to reduce the release of synthetic microfibers along the textile chain, from design to final disposal by training educators and students like you!

With green and digital skills, MicroWeave-TEX seeks to develop a higher education environment ready for sustainability challenges. It aims to improve the skills of students, educators, and professionals on sustainable practices and microplastics reduction by providing different innovative training and resources. This initiative strives to promote sustainability in the textile sector and water resilience, aligning with the sustainability goals outlined in the EU Green Deal and EU Blue Deal.

Renewable energy-based green businesses and global warming.
