State of the art report (WP2)
One of the main objectives of our project is to empower educators, equipping them with the necessary tools and learning resources to integrate sustainability and microplastics education in their classrooms.
To achieve that, the MICROWEAVE-TEX consortium has developed a structured overview of the current scientific knowledge on microplastic and synthetic microfibers from textiles, with data accumulated from all partner countries to form a more complete approach.
This synthesis provides the base for the development of the 2nd Work package of our project, which is responsible for the development and provision of the previously mentioned learning resources on sustainability education.
Our training modules and other multilingual and innovative educational materials will be created using a robust and science-based approach, using the synthesis of the concepts mentioned in the State-of-the-art report.
